Visual Storyteller: Writer, Producer, Graphic Designer, Video Editor, Photographer & Content Creator.
Born and raised in the Peninsula of Northern California, Johnny always knew at an early age that he was gifted with the creative talent. With it came a keen eye to detail and the passion of changing the world for the better with his storytelling. Along the way he learned to build relationships and know the importance of working with a team, uplifting them up to their greatest potential.
At the age of eight, Johnny wanted to work in the film industry after watching Steven Spielberg’s E.T. and began producing home videos with his father’s hand-held camera. Since then, and throughout the years, Johnny took an interest in all media forms from acting, graphic design, screenwriting, and photography.
Before starting college, Johnny was accepted into John Robert Powers, a talent school in the San Francisco area. It was there that he began participating in major films such as Spider-Man, Bee Season, The Dark Knight Rises, Saving Mr. Banks, and television’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It was the experience of being on a set of feature films that he took an interest behind the scenes, inspired to share his storytelling, and produce films with impactful messages with the world. He also had the opportunity to collaborate with fellow Hollywood veteran talents such as Leslie Easterbrook (Police Academy, The Devil’s Rejects), Michael Gregory (Robocop), Tyler Mane (X-Men, Rob Zombie’s Halloween), and producer of Darkness Falls, the late John Fasano.
In 2015, Johnny was invited to Univision, a major Latino TV network, to talk about his successful weight loss transformation on Despierta America (equivalent to Good Morning America) using CEO Alejandro Chaban’s product, Yes You Can! That same year he served as Associate Producer and Art Director on Blair Skinner’s Eleanora: The Forgotten Princess, a short film, and had previously worked on Skinner’s comedic web series Stand-Up Girls, expanding his graphic design skills. Johnny also collaborated with Bob Lloyd (Emmy Winner for Lost‘s special effects) and designed actor Mike Vogel’s (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Under the Dome) official website for ten years.
In 2017, Johnny relocated to Orange County in Southern California and served in the PICS (Photographers in Christ’s Service) Ministry at the Saddleback Anaheim campus. Johnny has written his newest mystery thriller, The Final Bow, set in the 1920s. To this day, Johnny has collaborated with other filmmakers. This has given him the opportunities to grow in his skills: writer, video editor, graphic designer, on-set still photographer, and production assistant.
